PowerLogix
is now shipping their Blue Chip G3/466 upgrade for Wallstreet
and Mainstreet PowerBook G3s. A G3/500 upgrade is to follow
in November.

BLUECHIP G3 UPGRADES NOW SHIPPING, AUSTIN, TX --October 19, 2000 -- PowerLogix announced
today the highly-anticipated BlueChip G3 processor upgrades for Wallstreet and Mainstreet PowerBook
G3s are now shipping.
"Currently, the 466MHz cards are available in limited quantities," said Robin Sharp, Marketing Director
for PowerLogix R&D, Inc. "We expect the 500MHz models to begin shipping in November."
The BlueChip G3 processor upgrade simply replaces the stock processor card. The user removes the stock
processor card and installs the BlueChip upgrade in its place. The stock CPU card as well as the BlueChip
are socketed and install easily following the included instructions.

POWERLOGIX ANNOUNCES WORLD'S FIRST 'TRUE' POWERBOOK G3 UPGRADE - BLUECHIP G3
MACWORLD EXPO, NEW YORK CITY, BOOTH #1425 --July 19, 2000 -- PowerLogix announced today two
new G3 processor upgrades for Wallstreet and Mainstreet PowerBook G3s. The new BlueChip G3 processor
upgrades will be available in either 466Mhz or 500Mhz, both with 1mb of backside cache, in August.
"Customers have told us that 466Mhz and 500Mhz G3 upgrades are the sweet spot in price and
performance for PowerBook G3s," said Robin Sharp, Marketing Director for PowerLogix R&D, Inc.
"PowerBook G3 users can get more than double the speed from the 500Mhz BlueChip G3 upgrade, and that's
an excellent reason to upgrade that older PowerBook G3 Series."

PowerLogix BlueChip G3 upgrades will be announced at a later date for PowerBook G3 'Bronze' Series.
The BlueChip G3 500 ships with 1MB of backside cache running at 250 MHz; the 466 model has 1Mb of
cache running at 233 MHz.
