reduced the prices up to $120 on most of their line G4 processor
upgrade cards. This includes cards for PCI Macs and a Zif
cards for G3/G4 PowerMacs. Using the XLR8 CarrierZIF
Upgrade Adapter any PCI Mac can use ZIF socket upgrades,
expanding the choice of G4 upgrades for pre G3, PCI capable
machines. Below we explore what performance
gain you will see with these cards installed in the machines
they are made for. We also take a comparative look at the
price/performance
equation of each card. Note it may take several week for
