Graphics Processor - 13% faster**
Graphics Gaming - 46% slower

** This application has been tuned to run natively on the Intel processor
As you can see the iMac does a good job of keeping up with the Power Mac in applications that have been tuned to run natively on the Intel processor, and does not do too good of a job running applications that are not ready to run directly on the Intel chip. So it appears that the iMac in processor intensive tasks and hard drive activity is just about as fast at the dual core Power Mac ... and perhaps just a little faster. It also looks like the graphics card in the iMac is not as fast as the one in the Power Mac.
